RUN AROUND LA

Appointment time was @ 8am. It was supposed to be scheduled on the 18th, but rearranged to 21st..I've been having fantasies on being hospitalised since kecik2 and im approaching this operation with high spirits. You see im stressed or tired too much to be afraid of needles this time. Good thing aight? Alan, Baba and Mak accompanied me there. It's good to have family supporting you all the way. Had some light breakfast and drank water cos i heard in an operation you'll be very dehydrated. I wondered how much im going to pay cos this is the first time im going to be operated UPON.

There are only 2 male patients, the rest are females..Budak kecik, aunty suma ada...We were given a wrist tag each, and was chaperoned to the Operating Theater. Kat sana we have to wear the green gown and shower cap. Serious nampak macam ER or House punya patients hehehhe...Alhamdulillah i din feel any gelabah ke apa cos i just want to get rid of this cyst. Lately the thing throbs mildly. A dr said the cyst could lead to something worse (cancer?). I just donno on HOW im going to be operated upon, i mean how am i supposed to sit, or lie down? Or the fact that i have to strip and wear this gown, rasa macam a very sesat Roman.

So after waiting for about half an hour, i was called. Jeng jeng jeng...Terdengar bunyi Braveheart soundtrack plak. Ingat nak tangkap gambar tapi segan plak...Nanti orang ingat mcm artis la plak nak bergambar..But i felt this is an important event la kan? Kena kerat sambil mata segar bugar...While waiting outside a student doctor came to me, greeted me and asked on how i was doing...Heheh this guy Azri must've watched Patch Adams pasal he practices on being a good, communicating doctor. Ada setengah student doctor kecoh ngan derang punya text books. My advice is, to become a good doctor u need to have good hambluminannas (relation with humans), you know not being too rigid and end up not treating the patient emotionally. Good job. Later in the OT i saw a table...Mak aii kena baring macam dalam Medik TV? Siap ramai orang.

The best thing was, masa atas table i asked the doctor, "Operation ni kacau optical nerves tak?".Gotcha. She then asked her students yg dah start tunduk2 takmo jawab soalan tu. Lama2 she answered herself, so tak kacau la optic nerves..Selamat gue..Then the doctor asked me, "Are u a medical student?". Ek eleh, tanya soalan tu pun dah gabra? No doctor, i researched a bit..And then i was covered in garbs taht look similar in Medik TV...Ish...they left just a hole for the doctor to operate on...Macam kena kafan la...even my feet is wrapped..She mintak izin, baca Bismillah and then jabbed me with anaesthetic (local, mind you)..Tingling pain, just a bit..After a while, she used some burning method to cut open. Tak pakai pisau dah ke lately? Lepas tu bau HANGIT + cecair termasuk my left eyes...I said,"Masuk mata!!" then the doctor wiped the liquid.Pelik tul bau hangit kat dalam OT ni...

I positioned my hands on me chest, sambil tu doctor was having conversation with student..."Asal mana?" Student said Kelantan...Then Dr said, "ha, saya study kat USM Kubang Kerian...I menyampuk, "Ha!!! Saya study kat USM Penang la doctor!!"..(haha boleh nyibuk plak time kena kerat kepala)...Jadi jejak kasih la plak...Sometimes i felt the doctor is tugging to hard on the cyst...Sheeesh...apa apa je lah...

Finally she settled jahit (ke pakai paste?) i dunno, she gave me MC and i felt relieved it's all over...

Hawa, Once dan anak- anak

Kan aku cakap aku suka gila Dewa? The first Dewa song i was introed to was 'Separuh Nafas'..At first they were biasa..Now i know why they are really cool. Went with Bob the Builder, Hawa, Alan, Erol n his gf jumpa kat sana. I had some training on that Saturday, so lepas tu took Mak's car and amik Alan because after the concert we will head to Port Dickson, our uncle is graduating from army school. Kak Long booked this service apartment that's supposed to be nice. I arrived at Stadium Merdeka at 4pm, knowing too well of those 'Malaikat Mauts' from Indonesia. [the term Malaikat Maut is derived from the movie ROCK where the band MM has looong hair like some Indons].

Met the gang, i missed Ada Band, din know they existed. After that there's Ungu. I was struck by the song 'Demi Waktu'...Sometimes these songs strike a chord in u. Nice voice. Then there's COKELAT. Keep in mind that their fellow countrymen are already rowdy. Bob said, "Kalau dah kerja construction bina KLCC tu mesti takdak hal panjat pagar stadium masuk padang". And how true. They wouldnt mind being scolded by the Rela officials. Main acah2 nak panjat masuk padang, pastu kena gertak by Rela.

I sang along when Cokelat performed 'Luka Lama'. During the intro riff for 'Bendera', suma Malaikat Maut dah masuk padang. Serious we even switched places to somewhere safe. It's like some riot on the field. Later i realised that the song Bendera is about the Indonesian flag. 'merah putih teruslah kau berkibar....'. No wonder. Semangat lain macam but deep inside i felt takkan takde lagu rock patriotik for Malaysian mat rocks? I thot Gemilang is a good place to start. But Cokelat's drummer has some good posture la.

1. I was the Class Monitor during Form 3 and President of Science Society during Form 5.
2. Cheryl Samad was my classmate during Form 3.
3. I adore cats...
4. And turtles/terrapins/kura2 kotak.
5. Got 4 stitches behind my ear because I fell off a swing.
6. Jabbed with anti-tetanus injection (on me butt) because caught a nail on my foot.
7. Patriotic when it comes to Malaysian Football.
8. My first cassette i bought was 4U2C's Fiona album. (My cousin was a BIG influence harhar).
9. Please dont remind me about ANY 4U2C's Fiona song. Or their dance moves.[barfs in front of PC]
10. From pop rap, i switched to rock songs during SPM. 4U2C is for wussies only.
11. And KRU also. God, i dont believe i listened to those groups. Pernah kena ragging nyanyi lagu '2' from KRU. Mak aii, aku hafal lagu tu siot!!!!!
12. At McDonald's, I always order the Quarter Pounder meal. No questions asked.
13. I was a Boy Scout, and had good times during Malam Kebudayaan.
14. Once in kindergarten, i banged a kid's head because he played with the plastercine displays. Ms Jesse told me to guard the plastercines. Kid's nose bled. I freaked when Ms Jesse threatened to send me to jail.
15. I read the newspaper starting from the Sports Section.
16. I din pass my first motorcycle test. [Fell off the small bridge-had to retake the test]
17. I passed my driving test with flying colours.[Smooth talked the akak tester :) ]
18. Currently in the retail industry.Or oil n gas.Or the contracting business. Difficult to explain.
19. Watched 'Jerry McGuire' three times. I have the Secret Garden song from Bruce Springsteen.
20. Love to watch animated movies/cartoons.
21. Always wanted to have Optimus Prime's action figure. Or Sunstreak. [ni pasal Transformers ni].
22. Likes to sing to the max when on my motorbike.
23. My left foot is a bit bigger compared to my right foot.

40. My idea of a family outing is going to the movies. Or to a beach/waterfall.
41. Would like to climb Mt Kinabalu one day.
42. My compulsory pilgrimage is to Mecca. My personal 'pilgrimage' would be to Old Trafford, San Siro, Nou Camp, Olimpico, Parc des Princes etc.

46. My left clavicle broke after i fell off a tree.

48. 'Bearing' is a bit haywire. Needs assistance from co driver to tunjuk jalan kat KL.
49. I was in the 'Sains Pertanian' class during Form 4 & 5. Cangkuls and ayam daging were our specialty.
50. Pernah digantung asrama 2 minggu pasal curi line telefon. I felt bad. Dahla Headmaster was a cousin of my mom.
51. Savours on literatis from Micheal Chricton n John Grisham.
52. Once got into an accident.Fell off bike. Got angry I threw helmet at the couple + shouted, "Apsal ko masuk jalan aku ha!!!!'. Luckily tak arwah.
53. During secondary school, i had TONS of adik angkats. Korang pun kan?
54. Wanted to pursue medical degree last time. Was the 'walking buku rujukan Biologi' in my class. By matriculation i said, "F@& you" to buku teks Biologi STPM.
55. I was still a smoker when i ran the half marathon at Singapore.
56. Started smoking after SPM. Marlboro Red was my favourite. Switched to Dunhill 14s.
57. Quit smoking on 3rd January 2005.
58. I like to use Blanka n Dhalsim when playing Street Fighter.
59. Pernah menang sekali je Raiden. I used about RM5 just to finish until the end.
60. My first computer game was Prince of Persia.
61. My first game console was Micro Genius kaler hitam.
62. I had a BMX Redline.Bought from Singapore.
63. Currently i fell in love with banana milkshake. Yum yum.
64. Pernah wakil rumah Zaaba for 4x100m n 4x400m event. Got silver n bronze each.
65. Once voted 'Defender Terbaik' for a tourney during SM Taman Melawati.Got throphy kalau tak percaya.
66. I have a BIIIG extended family from the Kelantan side. We organize our Family Day every year.
67. I once have a crush on Wan Zaleha Radzi. [giler kan?].

69. One teacher once said, "Habislah awak.." upon hearing my PMR results and learning that i will go to boarding skool. Hey look at me now!
70. Performed at 3 gigs during uni days. One in USM, another one alongside Blind Tribe woohoooo!!!! The 3rd, i asked my fren to shave my head like a tennis ball (3 lines).But no groupies at that time sheesh.
71. I believe this world is full of equilibriums. Everything.Any elements. Physical or spiritual.
72. I try my best at becoming a devoted Moslem. But sometimes i stumble but Allah is always there listening.
