Of Rogue, Jean N Logan...
The only comic i followed during skooldays was X-Men..I adored the way Gambit throws his cards.."First we charze em up, zhen we thghow zem up!!" was his tagline..Too bad the movie STILL showed Rogue as this lembik Southern girl..Dah la her accent doesnt sound convincing..But Prof Xavier dead? And Jean Grey slashed by Wolverine? Mak aii...now that one shocked me la.
I find it amusing to watch Beast, played by Kelsey Grammer or Frasier...Memang tak tumpah..aku dok gelak je...hahahha and Vinnie Jones, former Wimbledon defender playing Juggernaut. Cool...
The movie marathon continues to 'Over The Hedge'. Definitely better than The Wild.AKu tido je time TW. Oh well, this Saturday is Battle of the Band competition , Sunday is kenduri kendara lagi..

Selamat Pengapit Baru
Phew, it was hectic..On Sunday i went to Sabak Bernam (alone) to attend Naza's wedding. What waited for me was the fact that after Kuala Selangor we have about 65kms to reach Sabak Bernam. Cilako. And to top it off, i missed my 6.15pm train to Tanah Merah, and had to ask for me neighbour's help to send me to LRT. I took a risk to find bus tickets at Station Putra.
me: (In halting Kelantanese accent)"Abe, ado tikek ko Tanoh Meghoh hok dok jua lagi ko?"
him: "Takdok, habiiih." huhu.And with that snickering face sommore.Siot.
me: (Repeating the same accent and trying hard not to sound like an orang Patani masak TomYam)
him:"Pukul sembile, RM30.80"..I am saved by Mutiara Bus company.
So, i managed to get to Kelantan, managed to become the best man for Kak Are n Taqrish...As always, i got bombarded with senyuman sinis n statements like : "Taqrish ke sapa yg pengantin ni?" or "Lepas ni awak punya turn la yek?" or "Dah ada partner dah?". Hello!! It got to a point where i sengih like kucing kena geletek... Prolly these uncles n aunts find it amusing to menyakat this poor nephew of them. But the cool thing was we all wore green, i call it Hijau Hutan Belukar Belakang Rumah. (will post pics once TheAngah balik KL)...The groom's bunch came very late (pasal shopping last minute, boleh?) and they forgot to pasang kipas at the pelamin. Peluh ya amat banyak...Besides wiping the groom's sweat, i wiped mine also...We the pengapits (Kak Teh the pengapit pompuan) can even sembang2 pasal panas sangat...I kipased so hard it's like kipas sate hahhaha. "Good experience for you", MamaLong said to me. Hahahah, yela yela. Tapi kitorang kontrol skit masa makan beradab. Uncle Man said eleh makan kontrol, i said,"Dah kata makan beradab...kontrol la skit hahahah". Jolly good time, long time since we lepak lama2 with each other. Suma dah besar2...even my 2nd cousins..We have our latest cousin, Wan Sarah (welcome to the club)...
But after the event i was so exhausted sampai badan panas giler...i dozed until 6.30pm, i was shivering masa mandi...and made farewell announcement thru the PA system. Salam suma orang, with a high fever bid them babai...Takde la sayu sangat, i said something like "take care of Kak Are tau!" to Taqrish because you know...And slept like with throbbing headache on the train to KL..

Esok jumpa the gang
Cuti jugak finally...(Lemas by Ruffedge has salivating drum beats,listen carefully they use the brush-type stick)...No, let me stress once more that i dun listen to boybands. Lemme stress once again that im attracted to a song not based on the whole song. I catch snippets of songs, be it part of the lyrics..or chord changes etc..But Lemas by Ruffedge has cool drumbeats heheh...especially during the interlude/solo.
Havent packed me bag. Baba n Atin went back already. I couldve gone back with them but schedule tak sesuai..Guess what, i already bought my baju melayu, songkok, sampin...Mahal gak jadi pengapit ni..Rosa asked me the other day, "Dah buat facial ke?". Ur kapla dongga im doing facial. Lain la kalau aku kawin, yek? Sheesh im prepared of the Qs that will be barraged to me from uncles n aunties. Now i know how 'ripe' ppl feel when they're asked thos big Qs. Lek dulu...gue nak kumpul luit tengok ManU kat Old Trafford nanti. (Which reminds me that im gonna miss MyTeam vs Malaysia yg Penakut). hahahah last i heard the senior team already went to Singapore 'preparing' for the friendly. Note: They are supposed to face MyTeam AND THEN Singapore. Apa cerita pergi sana dulu? Takut ka? But im really impressed with our Under 20s. Captain Zaquan Adha n his twin Aidil Adha macam Lampard n Terry (OMG im speaking about Chelsea)..I hope the future's great for us. N i dun blame the players entirely.
Tomorrow got wedding to attend. Nak beli hadiah ke tak? The most important thing not to miss is my train, Da Vinci Code, Over the Hedge and X Men. Im thinking of doing a movie marathon. Belasah je tiga2 citer.
Ps: Last night i dreamt of my ex yg sorang nu (not SUV girl aaa)..N i know ur reading my blog right at this moment muahahahahah...I have frens at high places u know? Hope ur doing fine btw.

Tis the mating season..
Been a while (cliche'?)..Life nowadays are full of cliches that seemed to overwrite themselves.. Ting Tong!!! Lama tak pakai frasa tu. Basically what happened after the last entry..
- Mother's Day - finally she liked our presents!!! Before this Mak would make her 'face' and we were left disappointed.
- Angah's birthday - An open letter to Angah...Sorry sangat luper birthday Angah..Macam2 menda kerja kena prepare sampai luper birthday. Will bring you to shopping kasut. (T&C = Kasut Vincci...bukan Nose, and sepasang jer tau!).
- Gotta help run/takeover a station in Sri Damansara. Nope, not @ Sg Besi lagi. Ada emergency. Our careeer is actually fragile. Having said that, i take taht as an example to prepare for rainy days.
- Teluk Panglima Garang kat aner?.
- Me band of rickety musicians got our latest member-a keyboardist by the name of Marcus. Friend of Effy n Bob n Hawa. FInally our session is filled with nice, violin sounds. 'Satu' sounded surreal.
- Rogayah dah sampai ke Kuala Langat. Took her with Bob n Hawa to the competition's place.
- Booked train tickets to Tanah Merah for Kak Are's wedding. Yet to buy baju pengapit.
Well, this coming 2 months i have tons of weddings to attend. Lets see, yati (fren during practical training days), Am @ Seremban, Hitler (kawen gak setan tu) @ Melaka, Nazaruddin @ Sabak Bernam n Reza (member time matric USM - terserempak him at 1 Utama). Pergh. Banyak yek? Not a surprise when ur 26. Sapa nak kawen cepat2 bagitau so i can fit in my schedule.
Movinf forward, me band have registered to enter a band competition. At Bandar Sg Emas, Kuala Langat.Sheesh. Jauhnya ya rabbi ya habibi. Went to watch the heats and we oredi have some action plan on how to come start our 2 songs, arrange it into a medley-ish transition, how Hawa n Bob will collaborate, how how how how now brown cow...We registered for the 3rd June heats, probably banyak gile band. Our aim is just to gauge how we would react under pressure yada yada..Actually im just tired of jamming week in week out without any progress jer. Time to buy new drumsticks. And a new bag.Heheh my Tama Phil Collins signature series dah oredi worn out. I think another 2 jamm sessions the stick will break la. Thinking back, i bought it time '02. 4 years? Or was it 2003.
There were 4 bands, mostly younger than our average age combined. Masa sampai parking kitorang dah melompat2 seronok. Habih Rogayah bergoyang. Wanna know why? Because it's on an open air stage. With cool Yamaha drums with it's own stage. There were this one band, with botak guy as vocalist. Menda yg buat aku tersentak was they performed 'Akhirnya Kini Pasti'. Perghh...Baru je me n Bob contemplated that song. Nasib baik. Oh yeah, we plan to play 'Spiderwebs' by No Doubt - ska pun ok. And as always, 'Satu' by Dewa. Sound is good, organisers used all Peavey amps. Yg best nya the thing was organised by Rukun Tetangga Bandar Sg Emas ke hapa ntah. Time they announced tu aku ngan Hawa kontrol ketawa tersipu2...Buahahahahhahaah...Gile dodgy. And then there was a ska band, nyanyi lagu Hotel California. One band sang Cokelat's Karma. So we deduced the crowd would know songs from Dewa. Ada one band got female vocalist. Sheesh dah lama tak perform live ni...Got rama rama in me RoiRoi. I hope Awang BPR (one of the judges siot) listens to No Doubt when he was small.

Of Respect
Fahi showed me his daughter's picture. Tomelnye....She got Fizah's eyes, Fizah's pipi tembam, and nothing from Fahi...Hahahaha..I even joked she looked a bit like Tank har har har...OK ok lawak jer, anak ko comel la wei..Promised to bring Angah n Atin to see the newborn..But certainly she has Fizah's eyes la..
Last Friday i did a not-so-me thing. I brought Alan to our jamm session. I guess it's not that bad as i thot it would be. But it turned out okay. Now Alan knows how his bro behaves actually hahah..Nah, i was just psyched because Abg Idrul, our lead guitarist finally came back to us. Bliss, life is actually good u knoe? U all dnno how i felt when we played 'Satu'.I din know such a simple beat could grow into 'something undescribable'. Serious, i absorbed everything. Hey, even Baba hummed 'Laskar Cinta' out of nowhere. He said, "the song got nice strings arrangement". Gile la bapak aku cool jugak yek? Habis kalau sanggup tgk Ice Age 2 with his grown-up kids (who btw are more than ready to have kids on their own) i donno how to define coolness.
Now back to the jamm session. Basically we played everything, Abg forgot some riffs but ok la...Audioslave was cun, Isi Dan Kulit was orgasmic wooo...Suma2 macam naik hantu la..And the studio's layout was rearranged so we faced each other..
Heard some good news from bosses. I hope i breeze thru the assesment la. If they send me to Pasir Gudang im happy, if they give the Klang place hey it's not too bad..Nowadays everyone's been asking me about "Bila nak pergi JB?".. And my answer would always be "Boss tak bagitau lagi" or "Bola itu bulat".Hahaha that's a typical answer if ur team lost.
Hawa yg sengal proposed to me the other day. Bukan apa, she said, "Li, kalau ko kawin ngan adik aku, aku nak mintak Ipod Nano ngan handphone 3G, boleh?"..Hahaha, "boleh" sangat la. Apa ke nama dia, hadiah 'Langkah Bendul', boleh? I just laughed and answered "Bola itu semestinya bulat". Heheh, im beginning to like the 'quick getaway answer', it's either "Kalau ada jodoh tak kenama" or "Bola itu bulat" hahhaha..I guess im gonna have a good time answering ppl during Kak Are's wedding nanti. Too bad i cant be pengapit kot. I heard ExxonMobil's gonna give us stations oredi. Humak aii..Now that's a leap for me.
Rosa told me things she observed about me..Aiyaa i hope things will turn out well la. Maybe last time's experience made me grew. You know la all the things u go thru jadi pengalaman la..I dun mind working long hours (ive been going back home at arnd 9-10pm everyday now)..but i think being surrounded by family kept me sane la..Compared to previous occupation.
Me listens to The Killers - 'Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine' every morning. Or in that case, listen to a couple of The Killers songs while on the way home with Rogayah also a stress-reliever.

Oh Rogayah..
Ingat tak lagu Hindustan..."Naja ne meri..dil to pya...hogayah?"..Cerita Kuch Kuch Hota Hei kan? I dun remember as KKHH is the only Hindi movie i remember watching....Rogayah.. Heheh...now im quite satisfied with Rogayah right now..I feel peaceful...Melalak ngan dia..Everytime we get out, i feel like kissing her...Serious.
