Jari Bermentega
"There's always someone who wants exactly what u want..would like to meet that someone.." i quote from a faraway fren..true true..Another fren of mine cakap, "u should soup up your social life". True again...[FYI, yours truly ni pemalu skit] ..So last week i came across this news article featuring Butterfingers 10th anniversary, i just couldnt resist..
I called the number on Myspace, hoping that theyre still selling tickets at Shah Alam (takdenye aku gi KL nowadays - jauh + jam), the polite guy adviced me to buy at the entrance that day..So called up several frens, ajak sapa yg berminat, then off we go..Sigh..I grew up listening to Butterfingers, they're like my idola (Ok, im in my sekolah menengah mode now)..Ada one time Butters had this vacancy for a drummer cos Kalai went to further his study...So one night at bangsar (this was during 2003 kot), me n my frens baru balik from a mamak session...Tgk2 ada sorang mamat tu, we made eye contact..Tgk2 si Emmet!!!! Argghgh, aku plak yg tersipu2 malu macam pengantin pada malam pertama hahahahaha..Then a fren menyampuk, "Korang sooo meant to be, lepas ni mesti ko dapat main utk Butterfingers".. Amin 40 kali...Sheesh, kotnyer amin menda berkat skit..Tapi nak buat camne, aku ni suka menda2 tu..Enough of my 'aspirations' la ye?
There was this one time, in Penang..I missed on a Butters gig. Keciwa. My fren siap cakap ramai giler.. huhu..
So, on that day, first time aku pergi Zouk aka Zoo Negara..Damn Dirty Apes opened the show..Tgk2 mamat si Bob drummer Fuel Injection and Tamm Blind Tribe played for DDApes. (Pergh, come to think of it, aku pernah perform kat gig ngan these 2 bands ni - priceless)..then Republic of Brickfields, then OAG..The crowd jadi gile pasal Radhi pakai baju melayu kaler biru..Mengong..
And finally, Emmet, Loque, Kadak pun ada!!!! heheheh...They played songs from their 2nd album, Butters Worth Pushful...Pergh, teringat time kat USM dulu..And time OAG tu rasa macam high skool jer..They played Ruin By The Selling Out, Chemistry (woohoo kantol), Garden City of Lights , and even Vio Pipe!!! Feckin' mother of all orgasms!!!! Aku paling suka time depa main Girl Friday..You just can relate pasal you pernah jam lagu2 ni..I just imagined (and wished!!) i was up there on the stage...[see, tangan aku dah gatal ketuk2 keyboard PC ni]. U can go and watch Good Charlotte for all you want, but this beats anything big time.. Masa Ruin By The Selling Out, i was the first to jerit 'woot!!' the moment they started the riff. Vio Pipe tu rasa macam pig orgasm (30 minutes ye) pasal i didnt imagine you can play without violin + bagpipe = VIO+PIPE.
Everyone sang together with Emmet. Tranquility in my book. Felt rejuvenated, transformed to the shy-low esteem-reserved-introvert masa kecik2 dulu..And oh yeah, i bought a Seven Collar T-Shirt CD 'Drones'. Too bad not enough money for the t-shirt.

Whaddup?
Hey, i went back around 9:30am. Zailan my colleague stopped by and we discussed things to improve at station. U can have tons of ideas but with all the segala mak nenek templates to complete it feels like masa mencemburui kita. heheh ive begun to like the idea of working late ni. Rugi gak datang awal, only to attend to rush hour customers. Not really 'rush-hour', but there are some who works in Shah Alam or Klang.
Phone berbunyik, IT specialist from Bangkok called to enquire about my system problem. Duh!!! Ngantuk la wei...2 pm, kepala pening. Then had lunch, Ayah Su cooked sup daging korban. We named it 'Sup Minyak 4T' or Sup Minyak Hitam. Kaler hitam, liat nak mampus. But tasted good. Kena belajar lagik.
Remember the insurance agent who had supper here last night? Dia ada lagik. At 1am he knocked the office door, aku int sapa..dia cakap nak present some insurance plan. No 1 - Dont go knocking on my office door late in the night. No manners at all. Biadap sungguh. Hang ingat hang Awie la tu. I just said blankly, "Not interested!!". I mean if he had the sense to set up appointment ka [bukan nak cakap aku YB ke apa, cuma berlambak mak nenek punya kerja ni], at least i would have give him a thought.No 2- ntah..mintak maaf la kan.. Sheesh.
I went around the compund, pondering to tukar the landscape. Buang pokok lama, ganti with rumput carpet [or cowgrass] and bubuh pokok pinang midget ka..Ada some space kat belakang tu boleh letak some garden chairs, so the lorry drivers can lepak2 hilangkan penat.
Come Friday evening, nak pi urut at Summit USJ. Pinggul sakit benor..Spoke to Azman, he got gout last week. Aik? 26 years old and u have sakit2 gout..I guess we must take care of our body early, make it a ritual.. To you guys, u must be thinking TGIF by tomorrow morning. Best tul, the pros of working in corporate or gomen.

Zombie
TUlah dia muka boring.It's 4:07am. Apa aku buat kat ofis pepagi buta? 3 of my cashiers (all from Kelantan) went back for Hari Raya Qurban, so im the cashier for the night shift..The advantage is, i can complete my segala mak nenek tasks at this hour. Kalau tak lots (i mean lots) of ppl want to discuss,communicate, or even promote things to you during the day. Oh yea just now there's this customer who's havin a late supper/early breakfast sembang2 lebih. I asked him, "bang business apa?". "Oh saya jual insurans". Erk...and then he went on to say we must have our own protection, mcm2 plan insurance ni, addition to EPF la (heck, i dont even have EPF contributions la dey). Aku memang nak beli insurance gak..I plan to next month,rasa boleh bernafas skit la..Lain la kalau aku ada wife kerja gomen, leh masuk hospital gomen murah2..
Ive been in the night shift since 2 days ago (Thanks Alan for the great job of assisting me @ office) and bangun je mesti sakit pinggul...I was on the fon with Baba, tgh urut pinggul then tiba2 rasa urat tu simpul skit..Adeh!!! Rasa mcm nak pergi urut kat makcik mana2 la..Ada rekomen ka? (oh ya tadi Shahril my cousin singgah ofis nak beli air)...Rasa macam nak cuti jap..Pi holiday ka.tpi dok cakap tu cakap ni, i dun think so...
Happy New Year, hari tu went to watch Night at the Museum. Always like Ben Stiller, clever yahudi...Makes me think of the Sejarah subject in skool. Memang boring, i remembered if i read the text book, in 5 minutes i would be drowsy, pastu terlena jap..Even the 'oh so nice' cikgu sejarah does not help at all..but the Museum of Natural History or concepts like that makes learning history interactive..Abih takkan nak buat patung Tunku Abdul Rahman in wax? Ntah la labu..Nanti nak tgk Transformers (confirm tak sebest kartun 'kikukukikik' tu), Simpsons the movie, being a movie geek.
Cinta? Ok la..Better than SEPET. Eh...rasa dah citer dah pasal that movie..Oh yeah, i miss watching prime time news..Or newspaper. Being a football bimbo i would dilligently buy Friday's NST n Star. Pasal derang ada supplements utk bola. Soo bimbo bola. Oh yeah, member gue si Bob yg vocalist so called 'band' aku tu dah nak kawin. Patut la lama tak contact. Busy bercinta. Hehehehe..Itu pun Hawa yg bagitau. Hari tu kebetulan pergi Public Bank Melawati, call Ali, tgk2 dia tgh lunch ngan Erin. Mak aii kurus giler!!! Aku plak jeles..Being erin, dia berlagak ala poyo2 dia..Hahaha..Norman came by, dah nampak macam detektif la plak..Good to be around frens once in a while. Ali datang Shah Alam, so does Anwar..Anwar nak tunang dah nanti..
Plan nak beli tilam la this month. Tidur atas toto buat sakit pinggang la..U know, want to pamper urs truly la konon. Letih kerja, kena la reward urself ngan tilam yg empuk. but i plan to pindah rumah. Sewa bilik ke, Ali dapat kerja kat USJ so we kinda agreed to cari umah sewa.
Orait, have a good Thursday. Khamis???? Dah khamis dah ke? Better go back to work..
