ishoot turkey

...is one of the applications that i downloaded to my phone. It's a simple shoot em up game, where we shoot these flying turkeys to collect points. Quirky, and plain crazy to play. I thought it was one of those apps where we play for sometime and delete after finding it ridiculous.
But no, nooooo.....It's addictive especially when you get to know of your wife's competitive streak. Later on that.
What you do is shoot the turkeys by tapping on your screen with the crosshair. If you manage to shoot two turkeys yang terserempak, somebody behind will yell "Yeahh!!!!!" and you'll get extra points.
Once in a while a turkey WILL fly towards you, and it's fast. Especially when there are several turkeys flying about and you forgot to reload.
Oh, did i mention about the reload? Heheheh. You reload by jerking the device forwards or backwards, thus your ammunition will be filled. The background sound is bluegrass style i think, kinda like O Brother, Where Art Thou stuff.
It's free by the way. And Maria is top scorer between the two of us. Come to think of it, she's always tops when it comes to video games. Sheesh..

I See You

Ring a bell? Jack and Rose Dawson from Titanic..Pergh, that movie still made me squirm [yes, i went to cinema to see Leo DiCaprio]. A bit cheesy when i recalled it right at this moment. My fren, Gondol bukan nama sebenar went as far as having the same hairstyle as Jack Dawson. Still can recall Gondol using Phillips Twist and waving his hair to show off his phone and his hair. Ha! Wonder where that feller is right now.

Why Titanic? I thought when James Cameron made a movie after Titanic he at least learned not to use 'I See You' again. But no, no... It was there in Avatar. Damn good movie i even went to see the 3D version with Anwar n Kharina.

But the message aa i tell you, it was like the whites wanting to conquer the Red Indians. Na'vi = Cherokee, or something like that. See what happens when we deplete our resources?

Tanah Tumpahnya Darahku

Earlier , i did mention to Ali and posted these words in my FBs status..

"Our Malaysian team have a chance to make themselves heroes...It is up to them right now.." >> These are more or less what Rafa Benitez said during halftime of THAT match against Milan. Something like you've gone so far, down 3-0 at halftime, be proud to be Liverpool players, make the fans proud, "give yourselves a chance to be heroes". Felt like William Wallace rallying his troops.

And they did become heroes. Although at times they lost possession to Vietnam, i guess the defeat in the group stages played a factor. Vietnam's keeper, Bui Tan Truong seemed to dislocate his shoulder and then continued AND THEN the whole stadium erupted from this heroic showcase. [perasan tak ada player nama Ding Dong? It's actually Tran DINH DONG]

Malaysia always seem to pose some threat through the flanks (wings) although not much pace there. Vietnam played a more direct approach. Trust me, i was thinking Vietnam's gonna score anytime. Look at the injury time, 6 minutes!!!! You can turn over a match in 4 minutes you know. Even Icha who was sleeping beside me woke up from my shout after we scored [or more correct, deflected. Eh hello!! The ball doesn't deflect by itself ok]. Papa pun buat susu bagi Icha minum..

What did we learn from this?
1) I believe bolasepak can unite our country, no ifs no buts
2) We should emulate the Vietnamese when they went through to the final. They throng the streets of Ho Chi Minh City and berkompang like they qualified for the World Cup.
3) Continous support from fans like us? How can we support away games? Simple. AirAsia has cheap2 tickets and even hotel packages, right? We can book early, bulk purchases and voila! Malaysia Ultras [awwuuuu, cool giler nama tu] can come in droves to support our team. The demand is there, cuma adakah people will think its worth it to go all the way , apply for leave somemore, and then the result kantoi? That's why i agree if they keep this team let's say for another 5 years. See how it goes.. Let us fans kenal sikit players. Aku kenal the kembar pun pasal dia Nike sponsored and his marriage to Rita Rudaini. Ada kecoh sekejap haritu kan..

The England FA has a subsidiary company who provides these arrangements for England fans to travel for away games. They provide security, accomodation, and caps [macam players caps - dapat discount etc], and this arrangement will promise continous support of fans. They even describe as experience as what sports should be >> getting to know the other supporters, hanging out with team lawan supporters, exchange souvenirs etc..The spirit tu akan lagi syiok. Imagine if last night at the stadium you can see half of the stadium filled with yellow colours. Imagine what the scoreline could be.

Lastly, I HEART K. RAJAGOPAL... Happy New Year everyone!!

Light Up..Light Up..

You see having a WiFi facility is heaven for me.
It keeps me from watching TV too much.
Right now i'm downloading Transformers 2, cos i went to see with Najeeb, Ali, Rashid n Mat Ki and Mek was in confinement. So i felt kesian cos she liked the first movie. I mean, who doesn't?
And then i'm downloading a few movies, Law Abiding Citizen..Smokin' Aces [dayem, i saw part of it in Star Movies and it was mind-blowing i tell you].

And then came the ebooks.

I've already got some of Paolo Coelho's works. The Zahir, The Way of The Bow and i've finished Veronika Decides To Die.

Now that's what i call saiko....

Here's a Slovenian lady, works as a normal person should..Then she thought something suicidal..She felt compassionate towards the person who'll find her dead body, decides to die by taking sleeping pills instead of slitting her wrists..Then she passed out, 'undied' hehe..

She woke up in an asylum, felt relieved that she was still alive. Until the negative thoughts went through her head.Something about it would be better for her to die while she's still healthy AND brave enough.

Talk about twisted minds..Goodnight!

p/s: Like always, when i hear a good song it will be played in my head again and again..From Snow Patrol tajuk dia Run. Leona Lewis covered it and it was not that bad..

Sudah Potong?

It seems to me there's a sense of lackadaisical air if we're talking about monopolies. Not the famous boardgame, but entities manning our broadband wavelength. [cue the P1 WIMAX ad - "potong..potong potong pooootong]..

I'm all for stable Internet lines, although a colleague told me the circumsized boradband is not that bad in Kajang. Been using Streamyx was ok for me, except for the time when the underground fibre optic cable snapped a few years ago. As such, when i encounter 'no connection' i just restart modem and router everything's fine.

Ish, donno why but whenever i can't get no connection aa..I always feel i'm cut off from the world. That's how weird it is.

Back to the 1st paragraph. I registered for Streamyx account. 19th November. Ding dong ding dong plus some misunderstanding PLUS technician's refusal to work during weekends i finally get my Streamyx installed. Phew [heh, i sighed just now tau]. Finally gue dapat memblogging comfortably, upload pictures,et cetera.
