Dahlan Zainudin
Yesterday i cooked pasta with cheese for dinner. Once in a while it's okay to cook dinner for your family and i must say it was tasty, not oversalty but the pasta spiralle [spiral?] was a bit overcooked.
Icha, as you know if you haven't, doesnt want to be left alone in front of the tv. We guessed if she got a lil sister or brother she would take really good care of them. Kerja dia nak ada teman jer, or nak berkawan..
Back to the pasta, i never tried making my own sauce..I donno why, been having dangdut songs in my head lately..
When can we buy a house? Some financial commitments are holding us back..I gotta catch this opportunity as BLR has gone down.

Aqueous Transmission
I'm floating down a river
Oars freed from their holds long ago
Lying face up on the floor of my vessel
I marvel at the stars
And feel my heart overflow
Further down the river
Two weeks without my lover
I'm in this boat alone
Floating down a river named emotion
Will I make it back to shore
Or drift into the unknown

Selamat Hari Raya
- baru dapat tau guna preposition dengan cara yang betul. [i'm IN the States, i'm AT Melawati]. Thanks to Tok Ddy and Ataen. See, you'll never stop learning.

- Icha very goody goody girl, stop just for diaper change and stretch legs
- i broke down uncontrollably time minta maaf dgn my parents. I mean 'Sembilu style' break down. Donno, i felt i had to let it all out. Never said i love you to Baba before. I really meant it actually.
- Next year will be buying raya clothes in May. Tak kira, nak jugak.
- Me osso nangis masa salam dgn Mek, tak macho kan? tapi sayu sangat pasal last year beraya kat station and we felt a lot is missing that time.

between a rock and a hard place, anyone?
That's it, when Alfie [the last king of ampang ] told me he left a comment in one of the entries, that's when i really have to update..
Mek said, "Ni pasal Facebook la ni, kalau tak pantang ada cerita je mesti update blog". I guess it's true.Facebook lets you update there and then, the normal 120+ aksaras of alphabets just like SMS. With blog, you have to think like an author. Or maybe not.
But then again, when Alfie said he left a comment, that's one of the nicest compliments you could get.
Last night we were supposed to sahur at a hotel in Jln Sultan Ismail. I heard about the rate which is quite surprisingly cheap and why not? Hey ho let's go!!! Spurs vs Man U also around that time..Mr Organiser had invited a few friends from there, a few from here.. It's sad when you think about it. We're all grown ups, but we're still thinking in batches/clans/gang etc. I'm ok with that, as long as i can dig my fingers in those lovely steamboat!
But no, it wasn't meant to be. I cannot have lazat buffet for sahur. God has other plans for me. And that would be no buffet for sahur last night. The gang i told you before, they decided that they wanna eat somewhere else and just made the decision to blah.
So i'm stuck in this situation where all of them are my friends or acquaintances [although some of them rich ppl makes me segan silu to mingle with them] but we are to eat separately. Some wants to go to the famous kampung in KL, like me i never had the chance to sahur buffet i wanna sahur buffet lah.. And plus, i never been to the Cafe near the hotel in my life, and they said the band is gempaks. Yes, they really made some of my wishes come true. You know = Paint It Black, Enter Sandman, Smells Like Teen Spirit [dude, it's 'mulatto' before 'albino', not the other way around], some Muse numbers, and Coldplay.
See eventhough i dont really fancy Coldplay, their songs really gempaks when played live. They played Viva la Vida, but i swear if they played 'Fix You' i will break down in tears.
Back to sahur. The defectors left and Mr Organiser were left reeling of his efforts to organise the sahur, i think it's quite embarassing cos our table is in front of a biiiig LCD tv. Showing Spurs vs Man U. [what a game!!]. After the game we decided (or was it me kempunan?) to go to Pelita Nasi Kandar as i felt detached already with kari. Need to refresh my tastebuds.
*grinning* so everyone sat down to 'down' nasi kandar. And borak just like old days but i felt guilty la pulak borak lama2, i seemed to miss my two lovely ladies at home.

Lord of The Flies
- I realised, that i have other priorities and no time to blog.
- Having a kid can take up your time a lot. Donno if bringing a maid can improve? I dun think so.
- Went to see Man U train, Berbatov IS really lazy - when everyone do pumping, he just meniarap macam baby.
- Had a BBQ jamuan with friends, coincidentally my neighbourhood siap pasang canopy and bakar SEEKOR kambing at the same night.
- in my hands, a Dostoyevsky book called Crime and Punishment - halfway to go.
- Got back from a teambuilding event @ Sg Klah resort & hotsprings - check out http://www.plantationresorts.com.my/
- Alonso and Mascherano want out from Liverpool!!
- No one wants to come to Man U!!
- Jack Wilshere (Arsenal youngster) is damn goood!!! Saw him play against Atletico and he's a brilliant ballplayer. Watch him next season.
- bila la my new toy akan sampai...
- @ Sg Klah hotsprings, all villas have their own jacuzzi. Pergh, we were like Muslim drug lords!! with curut and all..
- last night BBQ @ Uncle Man's house..Love the air asam!!

- read that Astro wants to increase fees for sports channel. Eff you, golf pun dah ada channel sendirik no need to bore us with men with small balls [yes, pun unintended].
- why la i have problem with Vista. If i save an Excel file in XP powered PC using thumbdrive, then i cucuk thumbdrive in Vista , i tend to get error messages. Eventhough i saved the file in Excel 2003 etc.
- why is it that people in my neighbourhood (read: neighbours bodo) still bakar daun2 hasil ladang mereka yang tak seberapa tu? Pagi2 Sunday bukak pintu jer, bau asap.

Icha Shaolin Soccer - After and Before
Alhamdulillah, our long awaited hajat has finally been settled. Actually there were 3, buy pizza for NICU staffs, cukur rambut, and jamu makan kawan2..Rambut dah settle, BBQ should be next week Insya Allah and pizza bila dapat gaji nanti huhu..
Ustaz Hisham (a cousin of a colleague) was very nice, spoke to Icha while shaving her head..Basically Icha was uncomfortable being held by a stranger but Papa is here to save the day!!!
Later that night Icha showed us her vocal ability..Geletek her and she squeals like never before. And the strange thing was, previously she used to have a look at our wall clock and then smiled as though 'kena acah', today no more..Prolly her 'friend' already left the house to play with other babies yang belum cukur rambut lagi. Wallahualam.
I thank God for Icha has become a very very very very good girl. Nowadays, she minum susu around 10:30pm and then kitorang sembang mambang until dia ngantuk which is quite brief. Laer on she'll wake us up around 6am and sembang2 lagi..
Betul la my colleague Firdaus used to say, "Ko kalau ada anak, segala *%$@ kat ofis akan hilang bila ko tengok anak ko". Nicely said.
